Ethics in Engineering: Guiding principles for a responsible practice

  • Importance of safety, welfare and health of public:-
    Engineers should consider the safety of the public. Moreover, they should ensure the health of the public in their work and making decisions. By following this principle engineers can stop harm and promote safety.

  • Perform services in only areas of competence:-
    Engineers should provide services in areas where they are skillful to perform. It guarantees that their work meets professional requirements.
